Ancient Egypt Wing of the Met and Extended Nursing
My five year old boy has been really into ancient Egypt lately (especially the mummies and sarcophagi, of course). His excitement on his first visit to the Egyptian art section of the Metropolitan Museum of Art was something to see.
Check out the statuette of Isis nursing what looks like a 3 or 4 year old Horus. Yea extended breastfeeding!
